The potential of gov’t-business partnership

Partnership in Tourism particularly in Dagupan is truly a sound investment. Our government servants and civic organizations with their own businesses could make this a reality.
Imagine the government launching the annual fiesta in partnership with Star Plaza Hotel, with place to stay, airport pick-ups in partnership with local car service operators or Guv Spines’ buses, Dawel or Matutina’s restaurant for place to eat, barangay Bonuan official’s assistance in Tondaligan Park for their beach destination, CSI or Nepo for shopping, University school visit for parents thinking about getting the cultural college education for their kids, hospital and doctors, dentist, and beauty care presentations, and realty site showing, all rolled in a brochure or package are what I see when I pick-up similar tourist brochure from cities across the New Jersey shores or South American destinations.
Make this a reality and I am sure you would see the tourisim grow due to this enabling tool. We all know it is not that easy and simple. The challenge is in the forging of the partnerships.
Build the trust and work together for this goal and we will soon see a progressive Dagupan that could serve as a model in Pangasinan.
