PESO’s announcement about more job openings overseas is commendable but failed to mention about qualifications that HANJIN SHIPPING COMPANY is noted for – to be willing to die in an accident because there are no safety requirements as evidenced by the number of dead HANJIN personnel.

There is no mention about safety training that is a very important training component for the industry.

Maybe that is the reason why PESO is not aiming to send trained workers to GUAM where safety is stringent like in the CONUS.
