I hear you loud and clear ED. Sad but must admit neither a box of Wheaties or Popeye’s can of Spinach can pop the cork. Like today’s auto technology, fuel injection has rendered the spark plug useless if you know what I mean. I tell you what I’ve become more of an obsessed regional freak. Translation: ‘Tiga-Tanauan’ na lang tayo ED!
Once in a blue while I see Coca-Cola bottles breezing by. With nothing much to offer, this old fart is contented gulping down a Tsing Tao to the last drop. I heard it once from higher authority ‘mabuti na raw ang hilo kaysa uhaw whatever that means!
I thought Mr. Duque could have saved himself from turning into Pinocchio had he been more circumspect about his views regarding this Hello Garci product. I doubt if anyone can be effective while not liked by those she or he serve.
Ramon Magsaysay was someone not only effective when he was the president, he was also enormously popular and loved by the people?
He had charisma not clouded by unsavory characteristic unlike this present Malacanang occupant who is an embodiment of what sleaze is all about. If the comments made by Mr. Duque originated from Gloria Arroyo’s toilet suction brigade, it would not have valued anything more than rotting garbage. Coming however, from such a distinguished personality like Mr. Duque, it was an education bordering on utter lack of good taste.
Personally, I’d rather wait till the show is over before I sing hymn of praise for this junket leader.
