Watching the Wowowee TV showing of the Jul 12 2008 event yesterday from Boardwalk NJ made me came out with mixed emotions.

Listening to the labandera tell her story of her existence in the Philippine with so many kids and now her 5 years stay in US repaying her benefactors who took her here in US made a lot of the 12 thousand audience came in droves to hand her some $$$.

Needless to say she was not the only one of our fellow Filipinos who need help. Even suspect that the contestants were “undoc” by listening to their stories.

The plight of our fellow Filipinos could only be solved in the Philippines but those already in the country are not ignored by the softies or cold hearted. USA Pinoys care, we know that by watching them hand out the dollars.

This in your face Wowowee says a lot of our Philippines. Not only entertainment but awakening.
