Mechanize brick-making

Cottage industries like brick manufacturing is a boon to the local economy like Santa Barbara.
But, is it sustainable if they go ballistic? That brick industry along the banks of the Sinocalan River is there since I could remember.
The process employed is all the same . . . archaic, tedious and backbreaking. It couldn’t improve beyond Mayor Velasco’s expectations because of limited resources.
It should be mechanized. You need machines to mold the raw bricks and gas-fired kilns to maximize production.
Right now, the raw muscle of man and animal are being used, and the ovens are fired by wood. Denuding the countryside of wooden material will curtail work and like the old days nothing changes.
“Lario” capital of the world, Mayor Velasco?
Calm down. Don’t get crazy now!
