Pangulo in fighting mood

By Gonzalo Duque

FIRST, our half-kabayan Mike Sueno, DILG secretary, got it, straight from the shoulder!

Knocked out ang kabayan natin.

Yes, taga-Urdaneta ang ermat.

Then, Undersecretary Maia Chiara-Halmen Valdez under our friend and most powerful and closest man to the President, Cabinet Secretary Jun Evasco, was also most recently fired.

In case you are not looking; matindi ito… because Jun Evasco is supposed to be untouchable, but again, here the President showed that in the business of government, especially fighting corruption, nobody is safe if there’s even a whiff or smell of corruption.

You see here the difference between our President and former President P-noy. There was wishy-washy practice before. That is now history. Now is real and true grit, true governance.

He means business in the science and art of government.

Pangulo is determined to show what leadership means…especially in the corruption issue.

We’re happy that the Catholic Church is seeing the light of day, ironically speaking.  It is now extending its hand of friendship and willingness to help and cooperate with the President in his strong advocacies. Dapat lang, ano, baka iwanan kayo ng kabihasnan!

Bravo, Bishop Soc. Be like Pope Francis who is truly progressive!

            Is Digong mad?

Why not, yes! Dapat lang, ‘no?

He is mad in the right places and the right time!

If you think hard about it, what the President is doing is simply just right, right?

He is the leader…. He shows the way. He is not the most influential leader of the whole world for nothing!

And we follow his lead, it’s for the greatest good, for nation and the future`s.

Someone said mukhang pinapalitan na ni Pangulo ang meaning ng leader … kasi, maaanghang ang salita, nakaka-shock kung minsan. And as you just saw for yourselves, he just did what he did.

Why not? Suppose he did just what the others did, may mangyayari ba?  If he did otherwise, would he have been effective? Yong mga pa-cute, pa-pogi… may mangyayari ba?

            That’s the rub!

He is hurting us in the right places.

            Go ahead, Mr. President.
