BTF: ‘a Game changer & education executive’

By Gonzalo Duque

MAYOR Belen T. Fernandez will deliver her State of the City Address on August 10, a Monday at the Stadia.

Hmmm…agyo met la pupunaen tay lugar ya pansalitaan to a? Stadia is still the best convention center in Dagupan City, you know.

Araray managbatikos nen mayora, agda antay ontonda. Para silang sirang plaka. Mga block timers lang naman.

In her SOCA, we’re sure she will make a report on the many school buildings she has caused to be constructed. There’s one at the Dagupan City National High School, day care centers left and right in many barangays, gyms like that in Bonuan Boquig school despite what Edel Abalos and Principal Ventinilla were doing against her!

Masaya si Supt. Proserfina Bravo dahil sa ginagawa ni mayora for the cause of education.

Parents and the general public are happy about the city swimming pool she has ordered to be renovated. Marami nang mga bata ang marunong lumangoy, wala ng worry ang mga parents in case of sudden floods!

We hope her SOCA will include what she and Rep. Gina de Venecia are doing for the city.

Did you know that she was a recipient of a Valedictorian award from the League of Cities as most resourceful mayor? The league cited her ability to persuade other gov’t agencies to assist in the city’s development.

What?? The detractors don’t know when to stop?

Well, sabi ng isang philosopher, “ you can not debate success.”

At the resumption of our Deretsahan radio program with Sec. Bebot Villar, the irritating issue on illicit drugs took central spot again.

Talagang galit ang ating partner. And we enjoyed his madness, his anger – kasi nakakaloko na ang mga kampon ng demonyo, itong mga drug lords some disguising as public servants.

You know who we are referring to.

Manong Bebot’s fury and tirades are in the right place.

In Dagupan, nakakainis at nakakasuka na ang principal suspects ay isang barangay kapitan, at nagwawagayway na parang untouchable!

What do these kapitans have that even their superiors – a fighting mayora at very influential congresswoman (sino pa eh di si Manay Gina de Venecia?) – can’t stop them or their nefarious activities? Kawawa naman ang mga victims!!

You must have seen on TV or heard on the radio na may isang drug addict na pinatay ang kanyang ina at nagawa pang kainin ang kanyang puso!!! Grabe na talaga!

What?? Walang police work?

Hmm… hangga’t walang nagagawa ang hepe na si Sr. Supt. Chris Abrahano sa mga drug merchants, we couldn’t include him in our who is who list na magagaling. Wala! Laos! Nag-pupustura, may tarpaulin pa!!!

Do your job, Chief Chris – at isasaludo ka namin! To us, you are all show… No substance!

We suggest the police organize their efforts. You see, if there’s a will there’s a way!

In Mexico – a dreaded drug lord, El Chappo was able to get out of jail thru a tunnel constructed to the tune of $50-million!

This drug problem in Bonuan should shame Congresswoman Gina de Venecia because the selling of shabu is being done right in her own backyard!

Manong Bebot’s peeve is understandable. He has caused the release of P15-million for the newly constructed Rehab Center in Bonuan Binloc, and another P5-million for drug testing center.

Duga pa la tay artihan! Get to work. Produce results! Stop drug selling. The nation is suffering because of this.

Now, punta naman tayo on the most basic issue, water.

Mayor BTF will lead on August 14 the inauguration of a drinking water system in Barangay Carael. Alam po ninyo, naikwento ni Mayora na lagi siyang tinatanong ng mga Fil-Ams na taga-Carael kung naayos na ang kanilang artesian well.

So this is the loud answer: Ok na!

Masyado met imay private firm na water supplier diyan sa Carael, which claims to have been given a USAID machine to be a water provider. It turns out their pipes are rotten, and the water is not even safe to drink.

When we informed them that we were installing a new water system in Carael, they even had the temerity to ask us to pay them P4-million… for what? Pay for unsafe water? Que barbaridad!

In a while, Barangay Pugaro will also have its safe water system soon from our District and Mayor Belen!

Kapitan Ador Bancod, we were told, has submitted his council’s resolution for the putting up of such water facility.

Ok, ngarud!

Dakdakkel lay corrected agawa na admin nen Mayora, anto?
