Jojo Binay invaded Pangasinan

“The presidency is destiny,” Senator Bongbong Marcos

CLIMATE Change. This phenomenon is starkly creating havoc in our environment.

The extended downpour from typhoons Egay, Falcon and, Gadang is sending us a message that life is no longer the same, and we all must face up to the challenge.

We are expected not to be caught flat-footed, or we suffer.

Be guided always by the simple, but powerful Boy Scout motto:

Be prepared!

That Boy Scout motto reminds us of leading presidentiable Vice President/Boy Scouts of the Philippines president Jojo Binay.

He was in Pangasinan for three days, says a birdie at Pinkie’s Restaurant, in campaign mode, in order to preempt Mar Roxas’ electoral victory, a lesson learned in the last vice presidential duel that was won by Roxas.

Binay was met at Ninoy Siapno’s Pinkie’s by some 40 supporters led by main point man Mayor Sammy Rosario, in the company of Erwin Maceda, lawyer Harry Roque, farm leader Anong Manalo and fishpond association officer Len Ang.

The Binays are perceived to be the most politically persecuted family, accused of gargantuan graft and corruption even while he leads in the survey.

But Binay is taking the brickbats with “classic equanimity,” his cool demeanor honed by detailed preparation ala Boy Scout.

It’s anybody’s game yet, with Grace Poe dramatically taking over the top slot, and Mar Roxas and Rody Duterte closing in. Bongbong Marcos supporters, however, are not giving up calling attention to the surveys after September.
