ASINGAN—Police and anti-narcotics operatives swooped down on the residence of a barangay kagawad here in a drug sting on May 8 and seized sachets of shabu.

P/Sr. Superintendent Ronald Lee, provincial police director, said the operatives found eight sachets of shabu, one open plastic sachet with shabu residue in the house of Reggie Garcia, 41, a newly identified drug pusher and resident of Barangay San Vicente this town.

Garcia, however, is at large.

The raid was made based on search warrant issued by Judge Camilo Asuncion Jr of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Asingan-San Manuel town. (Tita Roces)
