LINGAYEN–The provincial board reiterated its previous resolution addressed to P/Director General Ronald de la Rosa, PNP chief, seeking the appointment of acting Police Provincial Director Ronald Oliver Lee as permanent police provincial director of Pangasinan.

The endorsement was contained in Provincial Resolution No. 660-2017 approved by the provincial board on April 3, a reiteration to Provincial Resolution No. 426-2016 which already endorsed Lee’s appointment as permanent.

Lee’s designation today remains as acting police provincial director of Pangasinan.  He assumed his post in July last year.

In its new resolution, the board cited Lee’s dedication and achievements in the performance of his duties and responsibilities “in steering the police affairs of the province to fight lawless and other illegal activities, especially the war on illegal drugs.”

The resolution further stated that Lee’s accomplishment to further enhance security and progress as evidenced by his works have more than qualified him to be designated as permanent police provincial director.

The board also cited the good working relationship that Lee pursued between the provincial government and the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office. (Leonardo Micua)
