Three nabbed for guns, drugs in police checkpoint
SUAL—Three persons were arrested in a police checkpoint for possessing guns and illegal drugs in Barangay Poblacion here on Feb. 16.
Arrested were Frederick Saguinsin, 32 and Kenneth Marave, 31, both residents of resident of Old Sta. Mesa, Sampaloc, Manila and their companion Aldrin Marave, 30, from San Rafael, San Roque, Bulacan.
The police confiscated from the suspects one Armscor Medallion M1911 caliber .45 with two magazines loaded with 10 live ammunition each; one Colt M1911 Series 80 caliber .45 with one magazine loaded with ten 10 live ammunition, two sachets of shabu and other shabu paraphernalia, five maps, one black bonnet, one unit of dark green Toyota HI-ACE van without plate number in front and with plate number WDR 778 at the back and its pertinent documents, among others.
The suspects were charged for illegal possession of firearms and illegal drugs. (Tita Roces)
