LINGAYEN–There was no let-up in police operations against illegal drugs in the province even during the period of “Undas” as gleaned from reports of the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO).

Two drug personalities on the watch list were arrested by the police in buy-bust operations in Binmaley and San Carlos City on Oct. 31, while another was arrested in a separate operation in Alaminos City on Nov. 1.

Arrested early noon of Oct. 31 in Brgy Sta Rosa, Binmaley was one Leony Dalioan, alias “Onar”, 33, of Barangay Calit, Binmaley, identified as baseline drug personality in the town’s watch list. He sold one sachet of shabu to a police poseur-buyer.

In San Carlos City, elements of the San Carlos City Police arrested Garry Palaganas, 42, listed as newly identified drug personality early evening in a buy-bust operation in Sitio Estanquero, Barangay Bolingit, San Carlos City. He was arrested after he sold one sachet of shabu to a poseur-buyer. Three more sachets containing shabu were found in his possession.

Meanwhile, arrested in a buy-bust operation early afternoon in Sitio Dampay, Barangay Poblacion in Alaminos City on November 1 was Rizal Reyes, alias “Felix”, 22.

Seized from him were three heat-sealed transparent plastics sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be “shabu”, one Honda TMX 125 tricycle with no plate number, the Php500 marked bill and a cellular phone.

All three suspects were charged with violation of Sec. 5, and Sec. 11 of Article 2 of Republic Act 9165 as amended by R.A. 10640. (Leonardo Micua)
