Two drug personalities shot dead

LINGAYEN–Two more drug personalities were shot dead by unidentified suspected motorcycle-riding hitmen in the province.

The two separate incidents happened in Tayug and in Binmaley on Oct. 18, according to a report of the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO).

The victim in Tayug was identified as Roger Alcanisesof Brgy Poblacion D, Tayug, and listed as No. 2 drug personality on the watch list of the Tayug Police.

He was shot while on board a Nissan Exalta, bearing plate No. WNX 726, driven by his relative.

A report said he had just attended a hearing of his case in court when the incident happened. Members of his family who were on board the same vehicle were unscathed.

He was pronounced dead on arrival by responding police due to multiple gunshot wounds on his body and head.

Meanwhile, Charlie Perez, 27, a tricycle driver, who was in the PNP’s Baseline Drug Watch list and a former inmate at the New Bilibid Prison, was shot dead also by unidentified suspected hitmen on board a motorcycle about 8:51 a.m. at a road junction in Barangay Naguilayan, Binmaley.
