LINGAYEN— Vice Governor Jose Ferdinand Calimlim Jr. assured the Duterte administration of the support of the provincial government, including the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) and the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC), to the campaign against illegal drugs.

VG Calimlim said under President Duterte’s leadership, the Anti-Drug Abuse Councils in the provincial, town and barangay levels have been given the impetus to perform their respective mandate to fully support the campaign against illegal drugs.

“The mandate of the Anti-Drug Abuse Councils is to collect information and adopt measures that will help our law enforcement agencies and officials to succeed in the war against the illegal drug trade,” the vice governor said.

He added that Governor Amado Espino III also reiterated the provincial government’s support to the Duterte administration’s campaign and will soon launch his own initiative to boost the campaign. (Johanne Macob)
