Top 2-pusher in Tayug nabbed, guns seized

TAYUG– Joint police elements arrested the number two suspected drug pusher here and seized from him various guns and live ammunition, shabu, drug paraphernalia and cash in Barangay Carriedo here on Feb. 5.

The suspect identified as Jaime Tolentino, 35, carpenter, was arrested based on a search warrant for violation of Republic Act 10591 and RA 9165.

Seized from him were 41 pieces of caliber 22, one converted 22 rifle, one long barrel of caliber 22 rifle, one caliber 35 with inserted magazine loaded with five live ammunition, 12 live ammos for caliber 38, one live ammo for 5.56, three live ammos for caliber 32, nine big heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, one small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, one open plastic transparent sachet containing suspected shabu residue, three plastic tooter tubes, 11 glass tooters, one  surgical clamp with broken plastic tube and cash money amounting to P37, 480.00 in different denominations.

Confiscated items were brought to Philippine National Police Crime Laboratory Office in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan for laboratory examination. (Tita Roces)
