Man dies after being hit by a dump truck
LINGAYEN— A man died after being hit by a dump truck along a barangay road early afternoon of January 5, 2016 along Barangay Maya in Infanta town.
The victim, identified as Rubin Mose, 30 years old, married, and a resident of Barangay Nangalisan, Infanta, was walking along shoulder of the barangay road, when he was sideswiped by a ten-wheeler dump truck.
Due to the impact, the victim sustained serious injuries on his body. He was rushed to the Rural Health Unit of the town for medical treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician.
The truck driver, George Martinez, is 27 years old, single, and a resident of Barangay Bamban, Infanta, surrendered and remains under the custody of the Infanta Police Station. (Johanne Macob)
