LINGAYEN– The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) approved the P46,735,500 supplemental investment program (SIP) no. 3 of the province of Pangasinan for calendar year 2015.

The supplemental budget covers other priority programs, projects, and activities that were not included in the approved 2015 provincial annual investment program (AIP).

Per the endorsement of the Provincial Development Council, the projects include “fund augmentation for the operational expense of some provincial offices, public affairs fund, cultural preservation and incentive awards, drugs and medicines for hospitals, and for the provision of the productivity enhancement incentive (PEI) to all officials and employees of the provincial government.”

The items in SIP items are: public affairs and other social activities fund, P11.9 million; human resource management and development services, P45,000; personnel benefits, P24,500,500; public hospital services delivery, P10 million; housing and community development, P90,000; and tourism services including cultural preservation and incentive awards, P200,000.

The investment requirement of the SIP amounting to P46,7 million will be sourced from the reversion of current appropriations from savings on personal services, reversion of loan amortization to the Land Bank of the Philippines, and unappropriated surplus. (Johanne Macob)
