Dagupan milkfish price stable

The price of Dagupan bangus has remained stable contrary to earlier speculations that the price of the favorite and popular Dagupan brand of bangus will see an increase owing to expected bigger demand during the Holy Week.
This was bared by the monitoring of the Dagupan City Agriculture Office that saw the price of bangus at the Dagupan City Fishmarket remained at P105 per kilo on wholesale basis and P110 to P115 per kilo on retail.
The agriculture office attributed the stable prices to amply supply provided by traders in the market.
The supply of bangus sold at the Dagupan Fish Market averages 11 tons daily from the milkfish producing areas of western Pangasinan.
