MEMBERS of the Lyceum Northwestern University Research and Development Management Team led by Dr. Perla Legaspi, Director, LNU-Foundation on Local Governance, were briefed on the implementation of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Citizen Satisfaction Index System (CSIS) program.

The CSIS program is a set of date tools that is used to gather the citizen’s feedback on the services delivered by a certain local government unit like Dagupan.

DILG Regional Planning Officer Sheila Marie G. Andales said the LNU Research Team was chosen for the implementation because it had worked with Sustainable Sanitation for East Asia (SuSEA) and participated in research in establishing founding day of Pangasinan, to safeguard the credibility and validity of the results of the data to be gathered. The other members of the team are Dr. Cynthia Lopez, Director, LNU-Human Resource Development Office; and Dr. Eugene Reyes, Director, LNU-Students Affairs.

The program will help guide the city officials in providing the right health services, basic education services, social welfare, governance and response, public works and infrastructures, environment management, agriculture support and tourism promotion services. (CIO-Joseph C. Bacani)
