BANI–Two persons on board a motorcycle were shot dead by hitmen riding-in-tandem on another motorcycle while traversing along Ranao Road in Poblacion here at about 4:02 p.m. on August 7.

The victims, who sustained gun shot wounds in different parts of their bodies, were identified as Reynaldo de la Cruz, 36, and Elmer Libunao, 46, both of Sitio Abagatanen, Macabobobi, Agno.

They were rushed by responding policemen to the Western Pangasinan District Hospital where they were declared dead on arrival.

Recovered from the crime scene were 11 pieces of fired cartridge cases for Cal. 40.

Motive of the incident has yet to be determined.
