Gov. Guico signed agreement in Feb. 2023
MISS WORLD PHILIPPINES FRANCHISE
THE provincial board approved a resolution on Feb. 13, 2023 authorizing Gov. Ramon Guico III to enter into and sign a memorandum of agreement with ALV Events International, Inc. for its participation in the conduct of a beauty pageant search in the province of Pangasinan.
The resolution authored by Fourth District Board Member Marinor de Guzman said that one of the visions of the present administration is to make Pangasinan a premier province and its people worthy of international recognitions.
It added that it is the aim of the provincial government to fulfill such vision by way of supporting and promoting its tourism development programs and projects.
The provincial government accepted the proposal to operate and own a franchise in the conduct of a beauty pageant competition offered by ALV Events International, Inc., the holder of Exclusive License from Miss World Limited and Miss Grand International Company Limited.
For its part, the ALV Events International, Inc. will recognize and accept the winners of the beauty pageant conducted by the province bona fide candidates of the Miss World Philippines and Miss Grand Philippines pageants. (Eva Visperas)
