Six towns, 1 city cited in 2021 DILG national awards
‘WAR ON DRUGS’ CAMPAIGN
SIX towns and one city in Pangasinan were cited as 2021 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Audit National Awardees program of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Awardees are Alaminos City and towns of Anda, Balungao, Basista, Natividad, Santa Barbara, and Urbiztondo.
The awardees garnered perfect scores in all the indicators and criteria for the ADAC Performance Audit Award, that showcases the LGU’s performance in the war against illegal drugs.
Meanwhile, 28 towns were also recognized as ADAC Performance Audit Regional Awardees, namely, San Carlos City, Aguilar, Bolinao, Bugallon, Burgos, Dasol, Infanta, Labrador, Lingayen, Mabini, Mangatarem, Alcala, Bayambang, Calasiao, Malasiqui, Mangaldan, Mapandan, San Fabian, Santo Tomas, Asingan, San Manuel, San Quintin, Santa Maria, Sison, Tayug, Umingan, VIllasis, and Laoac.
The provincial government was also recognized.
According to the DILG, the awardees performed creditably in the campaign against illegal drugs based on established policies, guidelines, and the implementation of drug demand and supply reduction programs. (Ahikam Pasion)
