ANOTHER piece of good news at the Capitol.

Pangasinan was ranked among the top 10 provinces in the entire country with the highest total revenue collection for Calendar Year 2020.

Based on the report of the Commission on Audit (COA), Pangasinan is fourth in the top 10 list with a total revenue collection of P4.69 billion. Pangasinan is the only province in Regions I and II or the Northern Luzon area, included in the list.

Of the provinces in the top 10 list, seven are from Luzon and  three from the Visayas. No province from Mindanao is listed.

Bulacan is on top of the list with a revenue collection of P5.81 billion, followed by Rizal, P4.98 billion and Cavite, P4.85 billion.

In fifth place and trailing close to Pangasinan is Negros Occidental with P4.64 billion, followed by Cebu, P4.53 billion; Batangas, P4.49 billion; Iloilo,  P4.43 billion; Laguna, P4.31 billion; and Quezon, P4.15 billion.  (Leonardo Micua)
