OUT of 5,000 selected college scholars, the city government have started to support 1,123 initial batch of scholars for the 2nd semester of 2023-2024.

Mayor Belen Fernandez said she wants to make sure that there will be no delays for the payout of tuition fees of the scholars after the transition from the past administration with July payout to January payout. Preparations are underway for the 2nd batch payout on Feb 7, 2024.

All scholars should submit on time all required documents and without failing grades to continue to qualify.

MBTF EXTENDS EMERGENCY SHELTER ASSISTANCE TO DISPLACED FAMILIES

MEMBERS of 10 indigent families displaced by a land dispute in Sitio Sabangan, Bonuan Gueset expressed their gratitude to Mayor Belen T. Fernandez for the P1,000 emergency shelter assistance each from the city government on January 30 to enable them to start transferring and rebuilding their houses.

ALAGANG HEALTHY DAGUPEÑO MEDICAL-DENTAL MISSION GOES TO BONUAN BOQUIG

BONUAN Boquig residents received medical and dental assistance during the ‘Alagang Healthy Dagupeño’ mission conducted by Mayor Belen T. Fernandez on January 30, with the support of the City Health Office led by Dr. Ophelia Rivera and the Barangay Council led by Punong Barangay Joseph Maramba.

Free services offered to some 500 target beneficiaries in the barangay including medical and dental checkup, prenatal care, laboratory tests (random blood sugar, cholesterol, uric acid, hemoglobin), pneumococcal vaccine for senior citizens, vitamins and maintenance medications for hypertension, diabetes, cough, colds and fever; and products from Alaska and Nutridel .

The medical and dental mission aims to serve Dagupeños of all ages, especially children, elderly and pregnant women, among the 31 barangays of the city. For schedule of the activity in your respective areas, please coordinate with the barangay council or with the barangay nurses, barangay health workers, barangay nutrition scholars and barangay service point officers.
