The ‘goodwill’ visit to Milpitas City
THE Dagupan City government celebrated the 20th year of the Sister Cities covenant between the city and Milpitas City in California, USA with a goodwill visit for the benefit of the city’s Manlingkor Ya Kalangweran program, current city and DepEd Officials.
With the delegation are City Legal Officer Atty. Aurora Valle, Executive Assistant Luz De Guzman, City Engr. Josephine Corpuz, City Secretary Ryan Ravanzo, Division Superintendent Rowena Banzon, Education Program Supervisor, Liezl Cancino and the mayor’s special assistant Leizel Cayabyab.
She said the Dagupan delegation is making the trip with specific mission – to exchange notes on various concerns with the city’s counterparts, including the youth in Milpitas.
Before COVID-19 pandemic, Dagupan City was sending students to the USA in connection with the student exchange program between the two cities where Dagupan’s young leaders are exposed to educational activities at Milpitas High School.
She said she is certain that both cities will learn from their respective programs. (Dagupan CIO News)
