DILG FUN RUN VS. ILLEGAL DRUGS SET

MAYOR Belen Fernandez and Agnes de Leon, OIC at the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 1, meet for another coordination meeting for the hosting and organization of the fun run on April 30 to promote the BIDA National Anti-illegal Drugs Advocacy campaign that will be led by DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos. They are joined by representatives from the PNP, PDEA, BFP and BJMP. The members of the Metro Dagupan Cycling Club Inc. and Akarestas Walking Group are among the latest that pledged support for the fun run.  (Dagupan CIO News)

ELON MUSK’S STARLINK IS IN DAGUPAN!

MAYOR Belen Fernandez thanks Bitstop Inc. for the opportunity to experience Elon Musk’s Starlink, the most efficient internet  connection at 200mbps, during the meeting with officials of the Department of Information and Communication Technology and stakeholders to discuss the creation of  an ICT council and improve the quality of life of Dagupeños and visitors in the city. 𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛𝟰𝗘𝗗 CENTERS IN ALL BARANGAYS MULLED

THE first Tech4Ed Center in Dagupan City, a more modern community ICT hub was recently inaugurated in Barangay Pantal in the presence of DICT OIC Provincial Officer Elvis Cayabyab, and Councilor Jigs Seen, representing Mayor Belen Fernandez. Brgy. Captain Julita Perez led the ribbon-cutting ceremony after the DICT turned over IT equipment that included three (3) desktop computers, printers, Wi-fi cloud cameras and router for the free computer literacy training of barangay residents, particularly, for students in Alternative Learning System (ALS), PWDs, BHWs and training for women. Among the training activities are for basic Word Processing, troubleshooting, graphic design and  canvas editing tutorials  (Dagupan CIO News)
