Prov’l Gov’t conducts consultative meeting with poultry integrators and stakeholders

With Avian Flu cases reported in Central Luzon, the Provincial Government of Pangasinan conducted the consultative meeting with poultry integrators and stakeholders to assure the safety of the poultry industry in the province on March 22. The consultative meeting addressed the concerns of local stakeholders on the Avian Flu and Newcastle Disease and to create a single direction towards protecting the poultry industry. Earlier, concerned agencies and offices including Provincial Governor’s Office, Pangasinan Police Provincial Office, Provincial Legal Office, Provincial Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office, Provincial Information Office, and Provincial Veterinary Office also held a meeting to implement proactive measures amidst the threat of Avian Flu. The Provincial Government issued Executive Order No. 0014-2022 which prohibits the entry of quails and ducks into the Province of Pangasinan.
