DISTRIBUTION OF P14.4-M AGRI AND FISHERY INPUTS
Pangasinan Governor Amado I. Espino III (left) underscores the importance of the agriculture and fishery sector in his message during the distribution of various agricultural and fishery inputs for local farmers and fisherfolks held on November 9 at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center (NRSCC). The project worth P14.4 million is a part of the rehabilitation assistance of the Abig Pangasinan Program. Among the inputs that were distributed include: 5,000 bags of 20-kg certified palay seeds, 750 bags of various kinds of hybrid yellow corn seeds, 60 knapsack sprayers, 140 gill nets, 20 fish shelters, 30 fish pots, 1,400 sets ng hook and line, 3 axial flow pumps, and vegetable seedlings. Priority beneficiaries for the distribution were Pangasinense farmers and fisherfolks affected by different calamities that hit the province. (PJES/Photos by JZP)
