The founder of “SUNDAY PUNCH” died 42 years ago today.

ERMIN GARCIA is one of the most popular heroes of modern journalism. He was able to help create a good society and fought against evil deeds. The Philippines, Pangasinan, even the world knows his name, and thousands more of journalists, writers follow in his footsteps.

ERMIN GARCIA – the name ever became so great, so strong hold upon all classes of society, particularly in media.

He will be named in history of PHILIPPINES, specially  in “PANGASINAN” as one of the
most remarkable personages that ever lived. He accomplished his work to help shape the community.

Today, “SUNDAY PUNCH”, the newspaper he created, is still strong as ever, still stands for ”TRUTH”.

Pangasinan and the Philippines lost one of its noblest, most remarkable publisher, journalist.

He lived a life with his “LORD” in whose service he laboured through the “SUNDAY PUNCH”.

He died on May 20 at his honourable post. My prayer and Peace to him, worthy memory.

May God Bless You All

Nida
