A war veteran who was born in Pangasinan, died on March at the ripe old age of 100.

Porfirio Laguitan was born in Pozorrubio town in 1924 and just turned 100 in February 10 as a resident of Taguig City.

During the World War II, from 1939 to 1945, Laguitan served as an informer for guerillas. His intel proved useful in raids and surprise attacks against unsuspecting Japs.
