San Carlos library bags 2 National Library awards
THE San Carlos City Public Library, headed by City Librarian Nerissa Cabuay, was honored with two prestigious awards from the National Library of the Philippines.
The city’s public library was awarded First place in the Exemplary Children’s Library Service category and honored Cabuay with Special Citation Award citing her Librarian of the Year.
The awards were conferred as part of the 11th Conference on Children and Young Adult Librarianship held in Los Baños, Laguna from October 11 to 13.
The National Library of the Philippines granted accolades to acknowledge the outstanding contributions of librarians who have implemented initiatives, innovative ideas, and exceptional programs in the field of children’s and youth services librarianship. (Kim Gealogo)
