Pozorrubio launches Kulnet Food Fest
THE town of Pozorrubio launched the week-long Kulnet Food Fest and Trade Fair on September 27 at the town plaza.
Led by Mayor Kelvin T. Chan, the event was organized by the Pozorrubio Tourism Operations Office to promote small and medium-sized businesses while showcasing their products and delicacies and to observe World Tourism Month.
One of the key highlights of the festival was the demonstration of innovative methods in preparing malagkit (glutinous rice)-based products, which are culturally peculiar to Pozorrubio folks. The festivities feature food businesses from Barangays District I and II, Batakil, Rosario, Palacpalac, Amagbagan, Imbalbalatong, and Alipangpang, all promoting their native products.
The event also included Tour Guiding Competition, Pozorrubio Logo Making Contest, Best Delicacy Competition, and Monochromatic Postcard Photography Contest, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. (Kim Gealogo)
