AGEW NA PANGASINAN

THE opening of the Pangasinan Tourism and Trade Expo on April 5 will be the highlight of the Agew na Pangasinan on the occasion of the 442nd Founding Anniversary of the province.

The Pangasinan Tourism Cultural Affairs Office (PTCAO) Officer Malu Elduayan, in an interview Thursday, March 31, said a Thanksgiving Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 5, at 7:00 a.m. at the Sison Auditorium.

Elduayan said the expo will again be about local products of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMES) in a bid to help them recover from the economic doldrums amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gusto nilang makabalik na sa livelihood yung mga MSMEs. Kikita sila kapag bubuksan itong Tourism and Trade Expo”, said Elduayan.

It will be located at the huts behind the Veteran’s Memorial Park and will be open till May 1, province’s annual celebration of Pista’y Dayat.

The announcement and awarding of the winners of the Abig Sining Visual Arts Competition and Exhibition, a painting and sculpture competition will be held in the afternoon but the exhibits can be viewed at the Casa Real until June 30.

There will still be no Limgas na Pangasinan pageant this year. (Ahikam Passion)
