Capitol awards livelihood assistance to women, youth
IN observance of the National Women’s Month, the provincial government distributed agricultural livelihood projects to sixty-six women’s groups from the Rural Improvement Clubs and youth groups from the Federation of 4-H Club (Rural Youth) in the Philippines, Inc. from the provinces’ towns and cities, broiler chicks and feeds package, farm-ready vegetable seedlings and organic fertilizers, and assorted fruit tree seedlings worth nearly half a million pesos.
Beneficiaries received wellness and hygiene kits in addition to agricultural projects as health support.
This project is a component of the Abig Pangasinan Karaban, a project conceived by Governor Amado Espino III to recognize the significant contributions of women and youth to the province’s continued development. (PIA Pangasinan/RPMIII)
