Guv swears in 2 new municipal councilors
GOVERNOR Amado Espino III administered the oath-taking of two new municipal councilor in a ceremony at the Provincial Capitol on July 12.
Sworn in separately were Councilors Gabby Naval of Burgos town, and Gloria Salcedo of Pozorrubio.
Councilor Naval assumed the post vacated by his father, Councilor Antonio Naval who opted to retire after several years in office.
Meanwhile, Ms. Salcedo succeeded her husband, the late Councilor Melecio A. Salcedo, who passed away recently.
The oath-taking of the new municipal councilor was witnessed by their respective relatives.
Gov. Espino exhorted the two officials to perform and serve their constituents well as true public servants. (Leonardo Micua)
