Two centenarians get P10K more

TWO centenarians in Lingayen town were honored on June 9 and given cash incentives by the local government on top of the P100,000 cash gift expected from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Hermogina Perez and Trinidad Reyes, both residents of Barangay Poblacion, received P10,000 each, a bouquet of flowers, relief goods, fruits, vitamins and medicine from Mayor Leopoldo Bataoil.

Perez turned 100 years old on April 19 while Reyes became a centenarian on May 22.

Meanwhile, the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office advised residents to inform them about their relatives who reach 100 years old and to present the documents, i.e., birth certificate and other government issued documents to qualify for of the cash gift. (Eva Visperas)
