PNP Region 1 cites success in anti-drugs campaign
THE Ilocos Police Regional Office 1 (PRO 1) reported significant results in its anti-illegal drug campaign in its first quarter campaign.
PRO 1 seized illegal drugs with a P29,230,819.26 combined street value, exceeding the P28,760,026.96 recorded last year, and arrested 360 individuals in 302 operations, compared to 303 arrests and 277 operations in the first quarter of 2023
“These figures reflect PRO 1’s intensified efforts to curb illegal drugs in the region by blocking their sources and employing improved suppression methods,” reported P/ Brig. Gen. Lou Evangelista, PRO 1 chief. (PIA Region 1 /AMMB)
