Three nabbed in Dagupan anti-drug ops

 THREE suspects were arrested by police operatives in Dagupan City for peddling illegal drugs.

The operation conducted at Barangay Bonuan Gueset resulted in the arrests of suspects ‘Andrea’, 27, and ‘Viser’ 60, both residents of the area, and ‘Eugene’ 42, resident of Barangay Nalsian in Calasiao town. Police confiscated 5.3 grams of suspected shabu worth P36,000 from the suspects.

Police refused to name the suspects as of writing because the operation was only a part of a bigger operation  in pursuit of a drug kingpin in the area. All suspects are now lodged behind bars.

Dagupeña nabbed in buy-bust ops

 A 37-year-old woman was arrested following an operation by the police along the New De Venecia Highway in Barangay Pantal, Dagupan City.

Police identified the suspect as Cornelia Catalino Castro aka ‘Conie’, a resident of Sitio Silungan, Barangay Bonuan Binloc.

A policeman posing as a druggie bought eight heat-sealed transparent sachets containing suspected shabu. After the arrest was made, the suspected shabu was found out to weigh around 40 grams, and is worth P272,000.

Castro is now behind bars and charged for violation of Republic Act 9165.

Muntinlupa City’s ‘Most Wanted’ woman nabbed

POLICE arrested the 32-year-old woman, identified as Muntinlupa City’s “most wanted” female.

Authorities barged into a house in Barangay San Miguel, Calasiao town, and arrested Genalyn Papa Camacho aka ‘Len-Len’, a native of Sucat, Muntinlupa City.

Police went to arrest the suspect, armed with a warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 206 in NCR for the crime of RA 9165 – namely sale, trading, administration, dispensation, delivery, distribution, and transportation of illegal drugs.
Aside from one of being Muntinlupa’s most wanted female, Camacho is also marked as Dagupan City’s Top 4 Most Wanted.

Tourist drowns in Burgos

 A 53-year-old woman drowned during a what should have been an enjoyable vacation in Burgos town.

Victim Norina Dulawan Habiatan, government employee, and a resident of Barangay Mabatobato in Lamut, Ifugao, was onboard a banana boat along with husband Francis and another friend along the Cabongaoan Beach in Barangay Ilio-Ilio, when the incident took place.

Police investigation, attested by witnesses’ statements showed large waves crashed onto the banana boat and caused it to turn upside down, and the passengers fell eventually dragging them to the deeper part of the sea.

Her husband was able to rescue her, but she eventually died while being revived.
