Student dies in motorcycle accident
A 20-year-old student died, while his companion was injured in Binmaley when their motorcycle crashed into concrete fence.
Initial police investigation shows victim Donnaliza Velasco Peralta, a resident of Barangay Laguit Padilla in Bugallon town, was a backrider of a motorcycle driven by fellow college student Darm Kirby Razo Tolentino, a resident of Barangay Lambayan, Mapandan town.
The pair was traveling along the road of Barangay San Isidro Norte in Binmaley, when Tolentino lost control and they crashed to a concrete fence. The two were rushed to the hospital, but Peralta was declared dead upon arrival.
Both victims were not wearing helmets when the incident occurred.

Drunk motorcycle rider crashed, dies
A 36-year-old man died in a motorcycle accident in Barangay Sapa Pequeña in Burgos.
Victim, Herwen Valenzuela Bongar, a resident of Barangay Baruan, Agno town, was reportedly drunk riding his motorcycle at high speed and lost control that made him fall and crashed on the curved approach.
He sustained major injuries that resulted in his death.

Motorcycle rider hit ‘lola’ crossing the street
A 76-year-old woman was injured after a motorcycle hit her in Santa Barbara town while crossing a street.
Victim Hemilina de Guzman, a resident of Barangay Maticmatic, Santa Barbara town, was crossing the street in her barangay and did not see the motorcycle driven by Jerick Daroya, 28, of Barangay Ambonao in Calasiao, along with backrider Santy Baldueza approaching from her side.
The victim suffered a broken leg, along with other injuries. The riders of the motorcycle only sustained minor injuries.

Rider dead as motorcycle crashes to trailer truck
A 25-year-old rider succumbed to injuries in his head after he crashed into a trailer truck ahead of him along the highway in Barangay San Jose, Urdaneta City.
Victim Jammel Amistad, a resident of Barangay Minien East in Santa Barbara town, was traversing the provincial road at high speed and he crashed into a trailer truck in front of him, being driven by Dante Manio, 53, a resident of Bulacan.
Amistad was not wearing a helmet when the incident occurred.

Tricycle crashes into van, 1 dead, 5 injured
ONE died, while five were injured after a collision between a van and a tricycle in Santa Barbara town.
The incident occurred in Barangay Tebag West of said town, when a tricycle driven by Gene Villota Valencia, 54, along with relatives Marjorie, Ashley, Karylle, Michael John, and John Mark, all residents of Barangay Botao in Santa Barbara town, was hit by a van from behind.
The driver of the van did not stop and sped off. Due to the impact, all persons inside the tricycle sustained injuries. Marjorie, however, was declared dead on arrival.
Police are now on the search for the van which rear-ended the victims.

Motorcycle backrider dies in collision with another motorcycle.
JOHN JV Romero Tambot, 23, of Barangay Bobonan, Pozorrubio and Mitch Domingo, 24 of Barangay Imbalbalatong, of the same town were riding in tandem on Tambot’s motorcycle were crossing the road, when a speeding motorcycle being driven by Kurt Demver Basada, 19, of Barangay Bantugan, Pozorrubio, with backrider Darlyn Rillera.
The four riders sustained injuries, but Domingo was declared dead on arrival.
Police said Tambot and Domingo were both under the influence of alcohol during the incident.

Tricycle passenger dies in San Fabian collision
A 63-year-old woman died after a tricycle she was riding was hit by an SUV in Barangay Cayanga, San Fabian.
Victim Fe Abulencia Peralta, of Barangay Longos Central, San Fabian, succumbed to injuries she suffered after an SUV being driven by lineman Jeryl Ferenal, 28, of Barangay Osiem in Mangaldan town, hit the tricycle she was riding.
The SUV also hit Arnold Janiola, a pedestrian who was walking on the shoulder of the street when the incident occurred.
