BJMP Dagupan all set to receive visits from PDL’s families
THE Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in Dagupan City is ready for heavy influx of visitors of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) this holiday season.
Jail Superintendent Roque Constantino Sison III, warden of the BJMP-Dagupan City Male Dormitory, said the facility will be under red alert and strict visitation policy will be observed to ensure the safety of all PDLs.
Despite increased security measures, the BJMP will allow visitors, even during December 25 and January 1.
Relatives will be allowed access to visitation rights, but Sison warned that protocols set by the local BJMP, such as bringing valid identification cards, will be strictly enforced.
“Hindi naman magiging problema ang pagbisita lalo na sa mga pamilya ng PDLs, siguruhin lang aniya na may dalang identification card o ID ang mga bisita,” Sison said.
Sison further warned visitors not to bring contraband items, i.e., drugs, bladed instruments, for their PDLs because these will be seized and bearers will be made to account. (Ahikam Pasion)
