TWO Dagupeño jins from the Bangus Taekwondo Club managed to earn one silver and one bronze in the 2023 Batang Pinoy Taekwondo Kyorugi event last December 20, 2023 in Pasig City, Manila.

Princess Pascual, 13-year-old student of St. Albert The Great -Dagupan, secured the silver for Dagupan in Kyorugi Cadet Under 168 cm while Terence Gio Puzon, a 12-year-old student at the University of Luzon, bagged a bronze medal in Kyorugi Cadet Under 148 cm.

BTC Head Coach Carlo Jose Daroya coach said both Pascual and Puzon will represent Pangasinan in the National Games.

There were 16 Dagupeño jins that competed in the event, participated by in by players from 17 regions.  (Kim Gealogo)
