No. 2 HVT drug suspect arrested in drug buy-bust
A DRUG suspect listed as second highest value target in the province was arrested in a buy-bust drug operation conducted by joint elements of the San Carlos City Police, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO) on April 17 in Barangay San Pedro.
The suspect was identified as Anthony Tinquico, alias “Jabar”, the target of Oplan Jabaman.
Initially confiscated from him were two pieces of small plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing 0.3 grams worth P21,040, which he sold to a police undercover agent disguised as buyer for P500.
Thirteen more small plastic sachets containing shabu, with P6,800 street value, were recovered from the suspect’s possession.
He was charged for violating of Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of Republic Act 9165. (Butch Uka)
