Student arrested for drug pushing at night
AN 18-year-old student selling shabu at night was arrested by joint elements of the police on April 13 in Barangay Poblacion in Pozorrubio town.
The suspect was identified as Renson Nierva, alias “B-1”, a Grade I2 student and a resident of Zone 2, Barangay Palacpalac, Pozorrubio, reportedly claimed he was in the drug trade to earn for his school expenses.
However, unknown to him, he had long been placed under surveillance by the police for his illegal drug activities, and Nierva was busted after selling one sachet of shabu to a police undercover agent and received P500 boodle money and one genuine P100 bill as payment.
His motorcycle that he uses in transacting business with his clients was also seized by the police. (Leonardo Micua)
