Motorcycle riders in accidents
A CROSSING pedestrian was injured after being sideswiped by a motorcycle in San Fabian town on Wednesday, February 1.
Victim Lobet Galvan, 29, resident of Barangay Alacan of said town was crossing the road in his neighborhood when he was hit by a motorcycle being driven by Eddie Peralta, 50, pastor, a resident of Barangay Anonang.
Both individuals were unable to watch out for each other as the area was dim.
Galvan was rushed to the hospital after sustaining injuries on the left part of his body.
Meanwhile, two motorcycle drivers were injured in a road mishap in Santa Barbara town.
Justine Barroga, 20, resident of Barangay Poblacion Sur of said town was turning left on his way home, when he was hit by another motorcycle being driven by Brenner dela Cruz, 35, resident of Barangay Maningding.
Both drivers were rushed to the hospital.

Fisherman goes missing in sea
AUTHORITIES are still searching for a 50-year-old fisherman after being reported missing by his family.
Kimberly Mojares, 27, of Barangay Nayom in Infanta town went to the local police station to report her missing father, Jerry, after the latter failed to return home.
Jerry was last seen riding his banca to fish on Tuesday, January 31, at 11a.m.
As of latest information, authorities found Jerry’s wrecked banca at the sea. There were no signs of Jerry nearby.

Dog causes accident in Bautista
A stray dog caused a road mishap in Bautista town, resulting in the injury of a motorcycle rider.
Victim Rodolfo Saguin, 58, resident of Cacandongan in Bautista town, was driving his motorcycle along Barangay Nandacan, but was surprised when a dog suddenly crossed the road.
Saguin lost control of his motorcycle and crashed to a bus driven by Randy Casillan, a resident of Barangay Dumpay in Basista town.
Saguin sustained a head injury, prompting him to be rushed to a nearby hospital.
Meanwhile, authorities found out that Casillan has an expired driver’s license.

Woman dead, partner injured in road mishap
A WOMAN died, while her partner was hospitalized after their motorcycle was hit by a van in Urdaneta City on Monday, January 30.
Victim Sheryl Sumulong, 47, resident of Barangay Nancamaliran East, said city, was with her partner Jamie de Leon Jr., 34, resident of Barangay Baguinay in Manaoag town, when the incident took place.
Authorities said according to the skid marks on the road, the victims’ motorcycle headed towards the opposite lane along Barangay Camantiles when a van driven by Ricky Galang, 54, a resident of Camanggaan in Rosales town, hit the unfortunate lovers.
The victims were rushed to the hospital, but Sumulong was declared dead on arrival.
