Man stabbed by drinking buddy
A 58-year-old man from Barangay San Jose in San Nicolas town, was stabbed by his drinking buddy after an altercation on Wednesday night, August 31.
Victim Rito Balanquit aka Ling-Ling, was drinking with his buddy Silverio Gulla, 56, a resident in the same community, when they both got into a heated argument that turned emotional.
Balanquit was about to get a bladed weapon, but Gulla struck first, stabbed his buddy in his stomach.
Balanquit was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in Tayug town by their drinking buddies for treatment, and is now on the road to recovery.
Gulla, on the other hand, is under custody of the local police. (Ahikam Pasion)
