Drug personality surrenders under Oplan Tokhang
A DRUG personality in Manaoag voluntarily surrendered to the Manaoag Police at his residence in Barangay Pao, Manaoag on December 15.
The subject of PNP’s Tokhang program under the project Simultaneous Periodic Driven Enforcement Research (SPIDER) initiated by the Manaoag Police was Russel Velasco, 36, an x-ray technician, who opted to surrender for a chance to start a new life away from illegal drugs.
The suspect was first bought to the Manaoag Community Hospital for medical examination then brought to the Manaoag Police Station for proper documentation.
Velasco will be placed in a community rehabilitation program under the care of the police and his barangay. (Leonardo Micua)
