FOUR persons were hurt when their car overturned after losing its brakes along Villa Verde Road, Barangay Malico, San Nicolas, Pangasinan last April 8.

P/Capt. George Banayos Jr., chief of police of San Nicolas, identified the victims as Ajit Chajal Kudhail, 47, his wife Shaveta Kudhail, 37, and their two children aged eight and two year old, all residents of Santiago City Isabela.

Initial police investigation showed the victims were on board a Toyota Fortuner when it suddenly developed a  mechanical trouble that caused Ajit, the driver, to lose control of the wheels while they were negotiating down a steep slope before their car rammed a mountain side.

The victims sustained minor injuries and were brought by rescuers to the Eastern Pangasinan District Hospital in Tayug town for treatment.

Meanwhile, Banayos advised all motorists to be extra cautious along the Villa Verde Road. (Kim  Gealogo)
