Bayambang holds IT Challenge for Youth with Disabilities
THE Bayambang local government hosted the “Pangasinan IT Challenge for Youth with Special Needs Year 2” last March 6, 2024 at the Balon Bayambang Events Center.
The Pangasinan IT Challenge is an annual contest organized by the provincial government of Pangasinan to emphasize inclusivity and offer more learning opportunities for the youths with special needs.
Some 30 students from junior and senior high school represented their various schools across the province in several categories of: eTool PowerPoint Presentation, eTool Excel Presentation, EContent, and Robotics competition.
Mayor Niña Jose-Quiambao acknowledged that in her opening remarks that the sole purpose of the event is to provide a platform for talented youths with special needs to showcase their excellence in the field of information technology.
“You are all smart, talented, and blessed. Your condition is not a hindrance in achieving your goals in life,” Mayor Quiambao said to the learners. (Kim Gealogo)
