BSKE voters registration resumes December 9
‘REGISTER ANYWHERE’ PROJECT TO BE TESTED
THE Commission on Elections (COMELEC) will resume the voter’s registration for the postponed Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections on December 9 and will end on January 32, 2023
According to Provincial Election Supervisor Atty. Marino Salas, since the passage of the BSKE postponement into law, the registration was initially scheduled to resume last week of November.
With the registration to resume soon, Salas said experimental features will be introduced in Metro Manila, i.e., pilot testing of the Register Anywhere Project (RAP) in selected malls.
Salas said residents of Pangasinan who are residing in Metro Manila who wish to register may proceed to designated pilot area on Saturdays and Sundays.
“Hindi na nila kailangang umuwi sa Pangasinan para magparehistro. Sana ay maging maganda itong experiment na ito”, said Salas. (Ahikam Pasion)
