Pangasinan rescues kabaleyan in Abra

THE provincial government launched rescue operations for Pangasinenses standed in Abra after a magnitude 7 earthquake hit Northern Luzon on July 27.

On order of Gov. Ramon Guico III, two buses owned by the provincial government were sent to Bangued, the capital town of Abra, shortly after the earthquake to rescue and fetch Pangasinenses and their families who wanted to go home to Pangasinan.

Among those rescued and who eventually decided to go home to Pangasinan were from Sison, Balungao and Urdaneta City. (104.7 IFM-Dagupan)
